Founded in 2017 in the picturesque town of Sopot, Poland, KUST. it’s a journey of ambition and creativity. The brand name, an acronym of its founder and creative director Kuba Stachowiak, also holds a deeper meaning in Scandinavian languages, symbolizing the coast and shore echoing Kuba’s connection to the Baltic Coast where he pursued his passion for design after college.
His path was marked by determination and a relentless pursuit of his creative vision. After gaining valuable experience in retail and design in Sopot, his international ventures in Switzerland further broadened his horizons. However, it was his desire for creative autonomy that led him to establish KUST.
KUST represents Kuba’s quest for authenticity and self-expression, offering minimalist and timeless underwear that embodies the unique East European aesthetic. 2017
A signature piece was born: the kust. brief 01. Handmade in Portugal from premium organic cotton, this high-waisted brief featured a wide white waistband adorned with the KUST. square logo tag. Its retro-inspired shape and open fly design quickly captured the hearts of minimalist aesthetic lovers.

KUST. introduced the luxurious Boxer Shorts, crafted from premium viscose silk. This fabric, known for its silk-like softness and superior durability, was produced by a small Polish manufacturer with a rich history dating back to the 1960s.
